Apathy......and why I'm to lazy to write about it
08-10-2000
Geez, it's been quite a while since I've updated this page. Anybody who has children or has been one knows the old story: You want Santa to bring you that special toy for Christmas and one of two things is bound to happen. Either you end up playing with the box, or you just play with it so much that you get tired of it and move on to the next toy.
Is that the case here? Have I played with this site so much that I'm moving on to the next toy? Naaaa, not yet. Since the web exploded several years ago, I'm sure a lot of you have thought of what you would put on a web page. When the time comes to actually jump in with both feet, you have so many ideas that you want to put forward, that you don't know where to start. As is the case here, you do some, realize some things just won't fly and some things may be a bad idea from the start.
Am I out of ideas? Not quite. Am I devoting as much time to this site as I did when I first started? Again, not quite. In running, if you have never run before, your greatest improvements are made in the beginning. Most people can go from a 15 minute mile to 12 to 10 in a reasonably short period of time. As you get better, it takes longer to improve. In 1968 Bob Beamon broke the World Record in the Long Jump by over a foot and a half. It took 23 years to improve that by 2 inches.
There will be improvements and changes to this site as time goes on. Of course, I am ALWAYS open to suggestions.
